The present application provides the capability of electronic submission of the “eCharter PermitApplication” concerning maritime voyages, either for commercial operation or for private use. According to the current legislation, all vessels are required to possess an eCharterPermit and have it in their possession in either digital or printed form. The development and management responsibility of this application lies with the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Governance.


REQUIREMENTS - TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE SPECIFIED PERIOD CHARTER PERMISSION 

Bellow in brief the requirements for a Commercial Yacht over 35 Meters of Non-Wooden Construction toobtain the Specified Period Charter Permission which is issued Digitally after the official application of oneof the following parties :

• Yacht owner (Physical Person or Company / Entity)

• Yacht Management (Physical Person or Company / Entity)

• Legal Company Representative

• Person Authorized to apply on behalf of the yacht owner (e.g. The Agent)


The license will be approved by the Port Master’s Office from the Authorized Officer .

It is applicable for all yachts as described at Paragraph 1 of Article 8 of Law 4922/2022 thus yachts over 35meters of Non-Wooden Construction characterized as COMMERCIAL YACHTS according to the certificates of their Flag State .

The Yacht will need to be Issued from a Greek Classification Society or from a Recognised Organisation a Foreign Commercial Yacht Inspection Certificate called PEXEPA .
